Cindy Allton had this to say:
"Wow! What an amazing community outreach going to the Benton House today! Kelly Gilliom Talbot, Sara Limberis McKoy, myself and Lulu the dog had a wonderful time and were blessed to meet some very beautiful people. The pictures speak for themselves. Lots of smiles, hugs and stories were shared, and the employees of the Benton House were so welcoming. This outreach is a definite do again! "
Update: Just 11 days after this great event, some of the ladies met for a class to learn how to crochet lapgans to be given out to the seniors. Beth Bennett instructed the class, and it turned out to be a great time of fellowship and learning for a worthy cause. See images added to the gallery below!
Veterans Appreciation Event

"A SPECIAL Thank You to Co-Chair Kelly Talbot, Todd Allton, Shirley Akers and Carol Newborn for setting up/taking down and working the booth!
We met some really wonderful people and some outstanding vets today. We had quite a few that were very interested in our club and passed information on to them. Hopefully we put some smiles on some faces and hope in their heart.
