About Us
The Douglas County Ga Republican Women's Club and its members' purpose is to promote enthusiasm within the Republican party, informing and empowering women to become more involved with community decisions that impact them and their families' lives.
Douglas County Ga Republican Women's Club (DCGaRWC) is part of the State of Georgia (GFRW) and National Organizations (NFRW).
The Georgia Federation of Republican Women's Club (GFRW), now in our sixty-third year, has a rich and glowing history of devotion to making a difference as a shining light in the Republican Party. The camaraderie and friendships formed among members over the years while working together in the spirit of voluntary service have forged bonds that have sustained us as a committed, long lasting organization. We are deeply rooted as a sparkling example of determination, dedicated to fostering Republican principles and educating the electorate.
National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), and our organizations consistently receive the coveted Diamond Award for excellence at the National Federation Convention, together forming one of the largest volunteer organizations in the United States. I hope that this year prompts many of you to get more involved by bringing your friends and neighbors to your club's monthly informative meetings, serving on our board and committees, and connecting in our campaigns and outreach activities.
Our members are energetic, smart, hard working and dedicated to our communities by working on campaigns and electing Republican candidates to office. Our VALUES of Faith, Family and Freedom are what drives us! We have risen to the challenge to keep our communities safe, our churches in tact, our children and our future prosperous and our elected officials fighting for our rights as Americans!
We persist in our efforts to be the best we can be and strive to broaden our social media and community presences and help in our mission to grow the Republican Party at all levels of government.
What is our Mission?
Foster loyalty to the Republican Party by promoting its principles and ideals in all elections, including non-partisan elections.
Support the objectives and policies of the NFRW and the Republican National Committee (RNC) and to work for the election of Republican, particularly women, candidates.
Inform and empower the women in our community about the threats to our society and develop action plans to deter them from happening.
Increase the effectiveness of women by promoting "good government" through active political participation and provide support to assist in the development of successful habits to that end.
Develop a fun and rewarding platform in the community and for our members to create enthusiasm for the party in the county.
Our Goals
Continue to reach out to the community to identify disenfranchised women and bring them home to the fold.
Voter registration drives including a booth at the Douglas Courthouse September Saturdays.
Profiling of the precincts in the county that have been inactive in the county caucus and conventions to identify voters and get them engaged.
Engage with other county women's groups in the district to learn of their efforts and cross pollinate for greater effectiveness.
